Boston, MA – Capstone Partners LLC, a national investment banking advisory firm, announced that it has successfully advised OPNET Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNT), a leading provider of management software for networks and applications, on its purchase of a source code license from RadView Software, Ltd. (OTC BB: RDVWF.OB). RadView technology helps companies verify the integrity, performance, and scalability of Web initiatives by testing, detecting, diagnosing, and reporting on application performance throughout the entire development lifecycle. Capstone Partners served as the exclusive financial advisor to OPNET on this transaction.
The license and distribution agreement entered into by the parties provides to OPNET a non-exclusive, non-royalty-bearing, perpetual source code license for RadView’s WebLOAD and WebFT products. In addition, RadView will provide limited engineering support services for a set period of time for the purpose of assisting OPNET with the use of the source code as well as training services for OPNET’s support personnel.
WebFT is a robust, Web-centric testing solution that efficiently verifies the functional accuracy of Web applications and ensures applications perform as expected.
WebLOAD allows for the testing of performance and scalability of Web applications to ensure that applications can handle the demands of actual usage once they are deployed. As such, WebLOAD can model and anticipate the real-life demands on applications.
