Capstone Partners has advised Applied Energy Systems, who specializes in critical application welding technologies for the medical and precision instrumentation industries, on their sale to Schott. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based out of Malvern, PA Applied Energy Systems also does same-day protocol projects to repeatable, mass-production orders, their company ensures the highest quality precision welding solutions. With services offering include laser welding and etching, gas tungsten arc welding, metallurgical analysis, and various after process finishing services. Schott hopes to bring their value-added processes and systems to the table and grow with this acquisition.
