Capstone Partners advised Global Power Equipment Group Inc. in its acquisition of IBI, LLC (IBI Power) for $19.5 million.
Global Power (NASDAQ: GLPW), with revenues of over $450 million, is a design, engineering and manufacturing firm providing a broad array of equipment and services to the global power infrastructure, energy and process industries.
IBI is a provider of custom power packaging and integration solutions, including switchgear enclosures, generator enclosures and industrial tanks.
The addition of IBI to Global Power’s Koontz-Wagner packaged controls business extends Global Power’s reach into midstream oil and gas applications, switchgear OEMs and distributed power.
This is the fifth transaction Capstone Partners has completed for Global Power.
