Capstone Partners is pleased to announce that we served as exclusive financial advisor to The Sterling Group, L.P. in connection with its formation of AGS American Glass Services (“AGS”), a multi-regional provider of custom glass and coatings solutions with operations across the Midwest U.S.
AGS was formed through two acquisitions: Omni Glass & Paint, LLC, a leading provider of custom glass, panels, contract glazing and specialty coating solutions to general contractors and manufacturers, primarily in Wisconsin, and an undisclosed business in adjacent geographies.
AGS is focused on building types that are “below the tree line” across a diverse set of end markets including education, manufacturing, government, office and retail, among others.
The Sterling Group is a private equity and private credit investment firm that targets investments in basic manufacturing, distribution and industrial services companies; the acquisitions were completed by The Sterling Group’s lower middle market Foundation Fund.
