Capstone Partners advised Belson Outdoors (Belson or the Company), a leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial outdoor furniture and other site amenities, on its sale to PlayCore a portfolio company of Sentinel Capital Partners.
It was a privilege to represent and guide the Beller family in the evaluation of multiple offers from a broad range of candidates and determine the optimal party to perpetuate their family legacy.
Since 1948 Belson has been providing commercial outdoor furniture and other site amenities to its customers. Belson’s founder, Frank Beller, created and patented the design for the original black camp stove seen in parks across the U.S. today. Frank also designed a variety of other products including a standard picnic table for National Parks and a commercial barbecue grill for caterers.
