Capstone Partners Advises Knight Enterprises on its Acquisition by Mill Point Capital

Capstone Partners, advised Knight Enterprises (Knight), a provider of communications infrastructure services, on its transaction with investment firm Mill Point Capital.

Founded in 1982, Clearwater, Florida-based Knight serves many of the largest Tier I and Tier II service providers in the cable and telecommunications industries and considers itself to be one of the largest communication infrastructure service providers in the Southeastern U.S. The company is led by CEO Jason Welz, who will continue to lead the company in partnership with Mill Point.

Knight’s services include engineering, design construction and maintenance of wireline and wireless communications; installation of energy systems including lighting, solar power and battery systems; smart grid and system security installation; and installation of cable, internet and phone systems for residential and commercial customers.

The Capstone team did a terrific job in representing Knight Enterprises and our leadership team in closing an extremely complicated transaction, right in the middle of a global pandemic.
