Capstone Partners Advised Quala-Die on Its Sale to Penn United Technologies

Capstone Partners advised Quala-Die, Inc. (the Company), a recognized leader in the design, engineering and production of powder metal compaction tooling and precision machining, to Penn United Technologies, Inc.

Founded in 1978, Quala-Die is headquartered in St. Marys, PA.  With approximately 95 employees, Quala-Die specializes in the design and manufacturing of tool and die sets for “net shape” or “near-net shape” precision powdered metal and ceramic components.  The Company will continue to operate in St.Marys under the strong stewardship of Richard and Dennis Schatz and their seasoned management team.

We continue to see significant growth opportunities for Powder Metal applications across several industrial end markets segments. Quala-Die is very excited to partner with the highly motivated Penn United Team– this merger will greatly benefit Quala-Die’s employees, customers, vendors and the local community.
