Jonathan I. Mishkin

Jonathan is a Managing Director within Capstone Partners’ Industrials Group. He has 45 years of industry experience across various roles and responsibilities. ​

​Prior to its acquisition by Capstone in 2025, Jonathan was a Managing Director at TM Capital, co-leading the firm’s industrial practice where he focused on the Packaging, Print & Paper and Building Products sectors. He has represented a wide variety of clients including converters, distributors, and producers as well as manufacturers of printing and packaging equipment, and building materials, including transactions from notable companies like Contiweb and Magnum Systems. ​

​Previously, Jonathan was the founder and Managing Partner of Sanabe & Associates, LLC, which served clients spanning the United States and Canada. Before the founding of Sanabe in 2002, Jonathan also held positions at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (later Credit Suisse First Boston), Burns Fry Limited and Morgan Stanley. ​

​Jonathan is the former co-chair of the YIVO Institute and a previous member of the board of the Center for Jewish History in New York. Jonathan previously served on the board of Ainsworth Lumber, a large Canadian manufacturer of oriented strand board, subsequently acquired by West Fraser Timber.
