David Brown

Industry Experience:
David is a Managing Director within Capstone Partners’ FinTech & Services Group. He brings more than 30 years of relevant industry experience across investment banking and financial services.
Prior to joining Capstone, David served as a Managing Director at Janney Montgomery Scott. Previously, he served at PB Capital Management, a financial technology hedge fund, where he was responsible for company research and portfolio management. He also served as an executive officer at State Bank and Trust, a $5 billion commercial bank based in Atlanta, with responsibility for corporate development, strategy, customer experience and marketing.
Previously, he was a founding principal at Sagus Partners, a hedge fund focused on the banking industry. He began his career in investment banking, primarily advising financial services companies.
