Capstone Partners has advised Element 5, a leading, privately-held provider of outsourced e-commerce solutions for software publishers in over 150 countries, on their sale to Digital River. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Element 5 based out of Europe was a leading competitor to Digital River before being acquired, it also was the second largest e-commerce outsource provider to software publishers worldwide. Element 5 stated that Digital River shared their commitment and that they were looking forward to working as one in the market worldwide. Together the firms believe they will have the world’s largest library of software titles and network of channel partners, which will increase our value to publishers and retailers.
