Capstone Partners Advises DoApp on its Sale To CoreLogic

Capstone Partners advises DoApp on its sale to CoreLogic. DoApp operates as a Web innovation and mobile development company of consumer and business applications for Web sites, desktops, and mobile devices. CoreLogic is a  leading global property information, analytics, and data-enabled solutions provider.   The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Minneapolis, Minnesota–based DoApp’s mobile apps were part of the initial wave of apps released in the Apple App store, including the first flashlight app. Today DoApp provides more than 460 apps for the iOS, Google Play, Amazon Fire, and mobile web platforms. Its most popular product is a news app that can be customized for specific organizations. DoApp also offers Adagogo, an advertising network that enables local businesses to advertise on mobile devices. CoreLogic and DoApp worked together on a real estate app and the foundation of the app was DoApp’s technology which fueled the acquisition.

CoreLogic’s combined data from public, contributory and proprietary sources includes over 4.5 billion records spanning more than 50 years, providing detailed coverage of property, mortgages and other encumbrances, consumer credit, tenancy, location, hazard risk, and related performance information. The markets CoreLogic serves include real estate and mortgage finance, insurance, capital markets, and the public sector.
