Capstone Partners advised Babe Farms Incorporated (Babe Farms), who engages in growing, packing, and shipping baby/specialty vegetables and salad blends, on their sale to an individual investor. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based out of Santa Maria, CA Babe Farms offers specialty veggies, such as beets, baby bok choys, baby carrots, cauliflowers, celery roots, fennels, parsley roots, and kohlrabi products. It is considered a family style business, many of the employees from the field, administrative and sales staff have been with the company for well over 20 years.
