Capstone Partners Adds to Firm’s Corporate Leadership Team

Denver, CO – Capstone Partners, a leading middle market investment banking firm, is pleased to announce that Managing Director, Ted Kinsman, has joined the firm’s corporate leadership team as Head of the Denver, Colorado office.  This move is highly valuable to the firm on several fronts and represents the firm’s expanding presence and status as a leading middle market investment bank.

Kinsman, who currently serves as Managing Director in Capstone’s Energy & Power group, will provide leadership to Denver’s investment banking teams while ensuring the seamless tie between the firm’s Boston, MA and Denver, CO corporate offices.  He will promote continued advancement in recruiting efforts, professional development, representation at community events and initiatives, and investment banking services.

Within Capstone’s Energy & Power group, Kinsman focuses primarily on Energy Services, including oilfield, downstream, and power generation products and services businesses. Ted brings over 20 years of experience in finance and investment banking within the energy sector, and throughout his career has closed transactions totaling over $2 billion on both the buy-side and sell-side.

Kinsman joined Capstone in 2005 and helped establish the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Group. In that capacity, Ted has obtained extensive deal experience across the energy sector, including transactions in the upstream and downstream oil & gas sector, as well as the power generation and cleantech arenas. Prior to joining Capstone, he spent several years at The Broe Group as a member of its Strategic Capital Group and Broe’s private investment division.
