Capstone Partners has advised ZMD, a provider of analog mixed-signal solutions enabling energy efficiency, on their sale to Simtek Corporation. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based out of Milpitas, NY ZMD’s ideas and activities are focused on products and applications that offer our customers an especially high level of energy efficiency and which markedly reduce emissions. With their energy-efficient switching circuits and sensors, they are contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and are making lower gasoline and electricity consumption possible. Simtek’s engineering team will be strengthened with world class expertise from the nvSRAM design team of ZMD joining the firm.
