Boston, MA – Capstone Partners, a leading corporate finance solutions provider, has expanded its Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice with the addition of Director Brian Jacobson in Boston, along with his team. Brian will build FAS’s Field Exam practice.
Brian is a Director with the Financial Advisory Services Team at Capstone. Prior to joining Capstone, Brian worked at Gray, Gray & Gray, serving as Director of Field Examinations and Client Accounting Services. His vast experience in field examinations and loan reviews for financial institutions enables him to deliver high-level accounting and audit services to banks, finance companies, and other lenders seeking assurances of the collateral against which they are lending. Brian has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting, auditing, and private company work. In addition to audits for financial institutions, he has had great success in working with companies to help grow their value through strategic planning, budget development, forecasting, and robust internal controls.
“With the U.S economy in flux and corporate debt at record levels we wanted to fill a void in our service lines with the addition of a Field Exam practice that will support our existing and future client base. We are pleased to add Brian to our group as he will bring this expertise. As a senior leader, he will help take FAS to the next level. He is a seasoned professional with deep contacts and experience and will deliver immediate value,” commented Brian Davies, Head of Capstone Headwater’s FAS practice. “Our clients ‒ private and public companies, private equity groups, law firms, commercial lenders and unsecured creditors ‒ will benefit from his 25 years of experience in Field Exam execution. Brian will also assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and quickly correct complex financial and operational problems while implementing value-building strategies.”
