Michael is a Director in Capstone Partners’ Financial Advisory Services (FAS) group. Michael has more than 15 years of experience providing comprehensive industry, operations, and transaction expertise to management, owners, boards of directors, senior secured lenders, bondholders, and private equity firms across a broad spectrum of industries. He has served in roles such as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and has led cross functional teams on multiple complex engagements throughout his career. Michael brings vast financial restructuring experience and industry expertise in Restaurants, Food & Beverage, Aerospace & Defense, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, and Marketing.

Michael has provided advice in a variety of situations and his work includes developing and reviewing financial and operating turnaround plans, managing covenant compliance, renegotiating financing arrangements, managing cash and liquidity, developing and reviewing financial models and 13-week cash flow projections, implementing cost initiatives, and integrating M&A synergies throughout organizations.

Additionally, having owned and operated his own businesses in the past, Michael truly understands the significance of operations and has the know how to help find solutions during challenging times.

Prior to joining Capstone Partners, Michael was Group CFO to a collective of marketing agencies, President & CEO of a restaurant group, and, for much of his restructuring career, served in a similar capacity at SierraConstellation Partners and Carl Marks Advisors.
