James W. Adducci

James is as a Managing Director at Capstone Partners. He has over 25 years of investment banking experience working with public and private companies to execute exclusive sale assignments, buy-side transactions, fairness opinions, financings and various other strategic advisory assignments.

Prior to joining Capstone Partners, James served as a Managing Director on Janney’s Infrastructure Investment Banking Team, where he specialized in the infrastructure, water, industrial and environmental industries. He has completed more than 80 transactions totaling an excess of $10 billion in value. In 2025, he was recognized with M&A’s Advisor’s $500m – $1.0B Industrial deal and PE Deal of the Year award for the sale of SIGMA Corporation to Windpoint Partners.

Previously, James spent 18 years at Boenning & Scattergood, where he most recently served as Managing Director. He also worked in the Diversified Industrials Group at Dresdner Kleinwort in New York, where he focused on cross-border M&A transactions.
