Gretchen is a Managing Director within Capstone Partners’ Technology, Media, & Telecom Investment Banking Group. She focuses on advising consumer-facing and content-driven businesses in the industry.
Prior to her career pivot into investment banking, Gretchen had a 25+ year career in the media industry, including as the President and COO of LittleThings. She held leadership roles at a diverse group of companies including StyleCaster, Hearst, ESPN, WorkingWomanNetwork, Inc., and more. She has been named to the Folio 100 and is a Digital Hall of Fame honoree.
Gretchen’s recent deal success includes representing Trusted Media Brands on its merger with Jukin Media; Outside (formerly Pocket Outdoor Media) on ten acquisitions, including its acquisitions of Outside Magazine & Outside TV and Pinkbike, CyclingTips, Trailforks; and Wild Sky Media on its sale to Bright Mountain Media.
She serves on a number of volunteer boards at The University of Virginia, most notably Chairing the Arts Endowment and the Capital Campaign for the Center for the Arts.
She is also on the board of the Tectonic Theatre Project, a proud resident of Harlem, a theater lover, a wine collector, and an avid traveler.
