Bassem Basta

Bassem is a Vice President on Capstone Partners’ Corporate Investment Banking team. Based in Boston, MA, he has over eight years of experience and is responsible for all aspects of deal execution, including company and financial analysis, material preparation, management presentations, due diligence, and buyer negotiations. He has particular experience advising Industrials businesses on M&A and capital markets transactions with a focus on rigorous deal execution, client leadership, and industrial sector positioning.

In his role, Bassem leads key workstreams from diligence and valuation through marketing materials and buyer engagement, and supports negotiations through definitive documentation to drive efficient outcomes for clients.

Prior to joining Capstone, Bassem was Buy-Side Associate at a $4B Egyptian tycoon cable and electrical equipment manufacturer across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
