Capstone Partners advised PhysAssist Scribes, Inc., a Fort Worth, Texas-based provider of scribe services to hospital emergency departments, on its acquisition by TeamHealth, a Knoxville, Tennessee-based provider of outsourced physician staffing solutions for hospitals in the United States.
PhysAssist Scribes provides scribe services for more than 155 emergency departments in 22 states, with a focus on leveraging trained staff to enhance physician productivity and compliance. Scribes work hand-in-hand with emergency room physicians to improve their workflow and free them to focus on providing care rather than sorting through medical records and other clerical work.
