Capstone Partners Advises Highstreet IT on its Acquisition of Enterprise Solutions Group

Capstone Partners advised Denver-based Highstreet IT Solutions on its acquisition of Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) and Moore Integrated Solutions (MIS) on its acquisition by Highstreet IT Solutions.

Highstreet was founded by IT services professionals with global backgrounds and the vision to create major scale by partnering with a private equity firm.  The announcement of the ESG and MIS acquisitions is a major building block in Highstreet’s early formation.

ESG is a perfect fit for Highstreet. Their service offerings, reputation, vertical expertise and desire to expand are a great match as we continue to scale Highstreet. Tony Kirk, ESG’s president, has done a very nice job of building an experienced team capable of doing more. We welcome them as we pick up the pace of our evolution.

ESG’s President Tony Kirk added, “While we are proud of what we have created at ESG, it is time to let the company take its next step.  Highstreet, with its leadership, background and desire to create a player of global scale, is a wonderful home for our employees and customers.”

Tony Kirk will lead ESG’s current ERP operations as President of Highstreet ESG, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Highstreet. His business unit will focus on several industry verticals, including financial, healthcare, media, pharmaceuticals, AeroSpace and Defense, wholesale distribution and service industries.

MIS represents a second key addition to Highstreet’s experiences and talent in Oracle’s Higher Education dominant Campus Solutions PeopleSoft product offering.

“Selling your company is an exciting but daunting challenge,” said Lisa Moore, President of Denver-based MIS, “I could not have navigated through the many iterations of decisions and documents without the leadership and guidance of the Capstone team.  Their direct and knowledgeable approach to each stage of the process gave me confidence and comfort that I was making a great decision.”

Lisa Moore will join Highstreet in the Higher Education Practice/Oracle Division.

The financing of both transactions was led by Transition Capital Partners. Petra Capital Partners participated in mezzanine debt/equity raise and Texas Capital Bank provided the senior debt funding portion of the funding.
