Boston, MA – Capstone Partners, a leading middle market investment banking firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Managing Director Jamie Lisac to help lead its Special Situations Investment Banking Group (SSIB). Lisac will be based in Capstone’s Chicago office. This is the second phase of expansion for Capstone’s Financial Advisory Services (FAS) group. The first phase kicked off last month with the addition of a new team in the Denver office.
“We’re thrilled to bring Jamie’s 20 plus years of corporate restructuring and special situations experience to the group,” said Brian Davies, Head of FAS. “Jamie possesses a deep and unique set of skills, with expertise in advising companies and their stakeholders through in-court and out-of-court balance sheet restructurings, distressed M&A, and capital raise transactions.”
Lisac will further expand the SSIB team in 2021 with additional, highly experienced bankers. SSIB provides strategic alternatives and contingency planning, Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations, distressed M&A, balance sheet restructurings, debt and equity capital raises, liability management, and special committee and board advisory services to middle-market companies, creditors, and other stakeholders.
“I am very excited to join Capstone, one of the best investment banks in the middle market, to expand the restructuring and special situations investment banking group,” commented Lisac. “I’m looking forward to working seamlessly with Capstone’s M&A industry teams to provide a wholistic solution to our clients facing capital structure challenges. I certainly expect the need for our services to be in high demand as many companies will continue to face significant challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
